Ericka Geldenhuys started her career in the insurance industry in 1984 at Glenvaal Insurance Brokers in Bloemfontein.  She spent time at Aegis in Pretoria then moved to Prestasi Trust in 1987.  She also worked for Sanlam and Mike Minnaar Brokers before starting her own short term insurance brokerage in 1992, Renaissance Insurance Brokers in its current legal entity was created in 1996 with Ericka relocating the business to Kwazulu Natal. Ericka as the founder of Renaissance has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the running of a short term insurance financial service provider.

Matthew Heaton joined Renaissance Insurance Brokers as a member in February 2008. Matthew started his career with S A Eagle Insurance Company (now Zurich Insurance Company) in 1994. In 2004 Matthew joined First Link Insurance Brokers (now First National Insurance Brokers) as an account executive marketing commercial and industrial insurance products. In 2006 Matthew joined AIG Insurance Company as a Broker Management Consultant where he gained invaluable knowledge in specialized products.

Tom Heaton Joined Renaissance in October 2008 as an office manager and became a member in October 2009. Tom began his career in 1994 with Wesbank working in the Insurance Department. In 1997 Tom joined Regent Insurance Company as an underwriter and was promoted to Senior Marketing Consultant in 1998 looking after the Empangeni / Richards Bay area. In 1999 Tom Joined Leading Edge Insurance Brokers where he was responsible for handling corporate accounts, claims management, training and development of staff as well as implementation of systems and procedures.
